GRAMMAR
“Don’t trust anybody who’d rather be grammatically correct than have a good time.”
―Tom Robbins, U.S. author, in his novel Skinny Legs and All (1936- )
Thanks to Jim Tripp, gifted young TPRS teacher from Decorah, Iowa, for this quote. I would like to be grammatically correct, but I would rather have a good time. And grammar will not always get through to students–having a good time will. If we can get and keep their attention, they will absorb the grammar.
